In his TakeDownCon presentation, Mr. Coggin will explain how trust relationships and interdependencies can be exploited to take over network infrastructure. Furthermore, the audience will learn how to analyze network infrastructure in order to develop attack tree strategies for taking over the targeted network.
Real world examples from the field of how network infrastructure is being targeted will be discussed, explained Mr. Coggin whose main job role at Dynetics is to design and build broadband multi-service networks supporting MPLS, VoIP, and IPTV for service providers. Paul also leads cyber security research efforts as well as performs network security architecture assessments and penetration tests for Dynetics, enterprises, utilities and service providers, as well as government clients.
Mr. Coggin went on to explain, Network design and configuration mistakes are repeatedly being seen during network security assessments, and during this presentation I will share the common mistakes that we find in networks where their administrators are sure there are none.
